Dear Supporters,
I hope you are all well and staying safe. I would like to ask all of you to call and email the EGLE Director Leisl Clark, Attorney General Dana Nessel, and Governor Gretchen Whitmer and her administration regarding Nestle’s permit application to express your concerns. I have included all of their contact information and key talking points below.
With the combined voices of the MCWC, the Grand Traverse Band, the supporters of this petition, and other groups who have joined in the effort to stop Nestle’s water grabs, our voices will be impossible to ignore.
Now is our chance to make a real push against Nestle's unsustainable water withdrawals at large and set a precedent that will forever protect Michigan water and water across the country.
Thank you very much for all of your support. Please continue to spread the word about this petition, because every signature counts.

Here are suggested talking points:
I am calling as one of more than a hundred thousand concerned individuals who oppose the proposal for decision issued by Judge Pulter to uphold Nestle’s permit to withdraw 400 gallons per minute of water from White Pine Springs well PW-101 in Evart, MI. Nestle’s pumping practices are unsustainable and threaten to destroy the surrounding wetland environment, break the trust of local inhabitants, and provide very little economic benefit to the state. We urge you to make the decision that is in the best interest of all Michiganders and reverse the approval of Nestle’s permit application. Help us to protect our most valuable resource for all to enjoy.
