Dear Supporters,

I hope you are all doing well and staying safe at this time.  

I wanted to make you aware of some recent developments with Nestle’s legal case in Michigan.  On April 24th, an administrative law judge ruled in favor of Nestle in the lawsuit brought on by the Michigan Citizens for Water Conservation and the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians.  In other words, the judge has upheld the permit that allows Nestle to increase its groundwater extraction in Michigan.

Despite this setback, I believe we will only become more united in ensuring that sustainable water withdrawals are written into law. 

I will continue to keep you posted on actions we can take to protect Michigan water.  As always, please spread the word about this petition.  Every signature counts!
