The local skateboarding scene at Queens park in  New Westminster has been asking for lights for the past three years. While there are other areas in the park that have lights all year around. As well as the tennis court has just received lights with in the past year.By the time most get out of school or off work it's dark. Was told everything thing from the other lights in the park are paid for. There will be shadows in the bowl Wich will make it  unsafe. Unsafe is skating were there is lights on the road or going over to Chuck Baily in Surrey that isn't really ideal cause the park has its own challenges. The infrastructure isn't there. With skateboarding we're it's at today with it being a Olympic sport you would think there would be more support. We don't even have a proper covered skatepark in the lower mainland. We are just asking for some lights to some what enjoy what dry weather we get in the winter. So if you could please sign this it might make a difference!  Thank you!
