Lift the U.S travel Ban on syrians

The United States has long been recognized as a nation committed to the principles of justice, equal opportunity, and the protection of families. However, the current travel restrictions affecting Syrian nationals continue to impose significant hardship on thousands of individuals whose only goal is to travel lawfully through established U.S. immigration and visa processes.
These restrictions have separated families, delayed reunification, prevented students from pursuing higher education, limited professional and academic opportunities, interrupted access to medical treatment, and created uncertainty for individuals seeking immigrant and nonimmigrant visas through legal channels.
We fully recognize the importance of protecting U.S. national security and support thorough security screening for all visa applicants. At the same time, we believe that eligibility for a U.S. visa should be determined through individualized review based on the applicant's circumstances, qualifications, and security background—not solely on nationality.
We respectfully urge the United States Government to review the current policy affecting Syrian nationals and restore fair access to all U.S. visa categories, including immigrant, nonimmigrant, family-based, employment, student, visitor, fiancé(e), and humanitarian visas, for applicants who meet all legal requirements.
A policy that allows qualified applicants to receive individualized consideration strengthens confidence in the integrity of the U.S. immigration system while upholding the values of fairness, due process, and equal treatment.
We respectfully ask the President of the United States, the Department of State, the Department of Homeland Security, and Members of Congress to work toward a policy that protects national security while ensuring that Syrian applicants are evaluated fairly, individually, and in accordance with U.S. law.
The United States has always demonstrated leadership by balancing security with compassion and the rule of law. We respectfully ask our elected leaders to reaffirm these values by reconsidering the current restrictions on Syrian nationals.
