Lift the Poverty in Tondo Manila, Help Them!

Lift the Poverty in Tondo Manila, Help Them!
The Issue
As we all know, "poverty" is the common issue in our country. Philippines is one of the poorest country in Asia, especially in southeast asia. the speed of the spread of poverty in the country is difficult to stop because of over population growth, lack of family planning, corruption issues, unemployment, and lack of quality education. Did you know that poverty can passed through generations, from old generation to current generation. While it is happening, the number of poverty in philippines is also increasing and it getting worst.
One of the largest slums in Manila is Tondo, although there are areas that are well-developed, there are still areas that are left behind and neglected. Tondo was known as "Happyland" where about 12000 people live on a dumpsite surrounded by large mounds of waste.
There are many children having lack of sanitation and hygiene, causing them to get sick. Poor sanitation conditions cause numerous health problems in children. Acute upper respiratory infections, acute bronchitis, presumptive tuberculosis, diarrhea, and pneumonia are all common ailments in this region. Children must also go out and work for themselves since families cannot afford to put food on the table fortheir children. Getting a good education and attending school are not priorities. Children as a result become trapped in the slums and are unable to experience life outside of Manila's most impoverished areas.
Supporting this petition is crucial because it helps the slums in Tondo get the things they need to live better lives, like homes, education, healthcare, and jobs. It also makes our community stronger by giving everyone a chance to contribute and succeed. Plus, it's fair and right to help those who need it most. By signing, we're doing our part to make sure everyone has a fair shot at a good life.
