I think shops and restaurants should stop selling caged eggs; you may not be aware about this but there is a dreadful secret about eggs from caged hens. 
Caged hens are treated awfully, their beaks are ironed off so they can’t scream, their wings and feathers are taken off so they can’t fly away and most of the males are thrown away when they are born born because they can’t lay eggs. The females are squashed together just close enough to lay eggs; this can make the environment hard to breathe in. The cages are quite small with six to eight hens in the each cage. They are fed only enough food to lay eggs with.
