Why this petition matters

Hundreds of students are being deprived of hot or even just warm water.

This problem has gone on for far too long and has affected students for weeks and months. Without 24 hours of notice our water has repeatedly been shut down with no hope of a real resolution so far.  As work orders and emails pile up with management nothing has been done. Maintenance workers have admitted it will be too hard to fix. Per UCA 57-22-4 under owners duties “(ii) maintain electrical systems, plumbing, heating, and hot and cold water;” meaning this is a direct responsibility for red stone residential to ensure for all residents receive hot water. 

does liberty square care about its residents? This problem is at the fore front and needs to be resolved. Perhaps this will open the door to point out other things red stone residential has deprived other residents of. 

if you believe that poor college students deserve better living, especially at $500 a month. By signing this petition you will inspire others to realize they deserve reliable water and better housing. 

How to make this right: each resident should be allowed to opportunity to leave their contract and receive their security deposit back. 

residents should be refunded amounts for every week they were affected by not having warm water or no water at all.
