Here at lewis we are not allowed to wear hats and hoods, if we do, we have to take it off and if we dont we get sent to the office or our hat gets taken away. This is something that many kids dont like, some of us would like to wear our hood or hats as a way to hide our messy hair or just because its cold outside. If we were able to change this rule alot of the kids here would love that now they can wear hoods and hats without being told not to. As someone who likes to wear hats and hoods to stay more comfortable and so my hair isnt as messy as it would be without a hat or hood. I think it would be nice if we were  able to wear a hat or hood without being constantly told to take it off. In the gender netrual dress code it states ¨Head coverings worn for religious purposes are allowed; hoods and beanies may be worn outside in cold weather (cold enough to see your breath). Head coverings are not permitted in any other situations.¨ currently we are under pandemic so we arent able to take off our masks and see if we can see our own breath so we could wear a hood. I also think that even if its cold and we cant see our breath we should still be able to wear a hood.
