In terms of what Switch 1 games should be given Switch 2 Editions with them being a thing, it should include everything first party that released quite late in the Switch 1's life span, something that's now been done with both Pokemon Legends Z-A and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. With this being said, not only should any particular Switch 1 games be given Switch 2 Editions, but Donkey Kong Country Returns HD and Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition should as well. Why this is comes from how things were with those games before release such as with how long beforehand they were announced and the lack of presentations they were shown off in, to which point it affected what their sales. Giving Donkey Kong Country Returns HD and Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition Switch 2 Editions not only would help with their sales on the Switch 2 thanks to not being the way they leading up to their Switch 1 releases, but it would give a chance for Donkey Kong Country Returns HD to have itself new features, and for there to more games like Xenoblade Chronicles X in the years to come, very much like what was done with Xenoblade Chronicles where it now has 2 direct sequels.
