Seniors only have one final year to attend high school. Most of these seniors also drive to school all across the county. They could be coming from as close as Secaucus or as far as Jersey City. A feeling that any young driver wants to experience is a sense of reliability and stability.

Those two feelings are only a part of a third feeling that High Tech High School proudly advertises: creativity.

By allowing seniors to paint their parking space with any appropriate design, it gives us students three things:

A sense of creativity by allowing us to express ourselves with our parking spot,

A sense of stability by knowing that we're appreciated enough to have the privilege of painting our parking spot,

And finally, a sense of reliability as both seniors and young drivers, know that all we have to worry about is driving.

Allowing us to paint our parking spots gives us individuality; it also provides an unspoken and organized rule of students having their own parking space.

It may be one small step for the Class of 2025, but it will be one giant leap for the future of High Tech.
