In the eyes of many Saint Augustine’s University (SAU) supporters and alumni who care about the future of SAU, Montgomery as a new board member is quickly destroying the future of SAU.  Montgomery’s disrespectful documented bullying behavior toward President Dr. McPhail, Executive Leadership and staff at SAU, and his status as a repeat offender of demeaning sexist behavior makes him unacceptable as a member of the SAU Board of Trustees.  His behavior at SAU is a repeat of what he did while on the board at FAMU and was forced to step down. 

Montgomery’s presence as a board member has the potential to cause SAU to not be able to attract and retain academic or executive talent, alumni confidence and legislative support. Supporters all over the country are tired of the unethical way new board members are appointed without appropriate background checks, they must be stopped now.  The Board of Trustees must not be allowed to condone this behavior by allowing Montgomery to stay on this board.

Saint Augustine’s is a university pledged with preparing the next generation of students, not a battlefield waging war against one another seeing who can make the first kill.

We do not need Montgomery leading us down a path of destruction! What was unacceptable at FAMU should also be unacceptable at SAU. Remove him from this board!
