Planting a tree cost between $150 to $100,000 depending on the type of tree. The cost is derived from paying for the tree, getting the soil, fertilizer, nutrients, water, paying the Eco-Soldier transport to the site, paying him /her to plant it, providing a uniform and food to the Eco-Soldier for initial tree planting and later maintenance.

Per Tree Nation, annually we cut down approximately 15 billion trees globally and plant around 5 billion. So, we're losing about 10 billion trees a year. Imagine an area of forest the size of a football field disappearing every second, this is the rate of deforestation. There are approximately 3.04 trillion trees on earth, at this rate within 300 years there will be none left. There are 5 main drivers behind deforestation: commodities (agriculture, mining and drilling), logging, wildfires, energy and urbanization.

Global Eco Army is here to plant 8 billion trees every year to help offset the 10 billion trees that are lost every year from all the above-mentioned deforestation types taking place Globally.
Amazon employees joined Global Eco Army on December 17, 2021, to plant trees and flowers and give back to the community.

To place things in perspective the cost per person to do a cleanup varies between $150 all the way up to $100,000 depending on the amount of waste in the area and the resources used.
Freedom Boat Club of Tampa Bay donated 5 Pontoon Boats with a Capitan on each helping Global Eco Navy remove waste from the Hillsborough River in Tampa, Fl. The river is a source of drinking water for their residents.

Per the United Nations, plastic accounts for 85% of all maritime litter.
By 2040, it will nearly triple, adding 23-37 million metric tons of waste into the ocean per year. This means about 50kg of plastic per meter of coastline.
Because of this, all maritime life, from plankton and shellfish; to birds, turtles and mammals; faces the grave risk of toxification, behavioral disorder, starvation and suffocation.
The human body is similarly vulnerable. Plastics are ingested through seafood, drinks and even common salt. They also penetrate the skin and are inhaled when suspended in the air.
In water sources, this type of pollution can cause hormonal changes, developmental disorders, reproductive abnormalities and even cancer.

Every brand is a large part of the problem. But every brand can be a large part of the solution if we all reach common consensus and do our part to clean up the waste we put into the World with our daily existence as Human beings.

Preventing trash from ending up in maritime animals' stomachs and throats is real LOVE.

Join the Global Eco Army today! Help us recruit 1 billion humans by 2050 in Environment Conservation fields. Help us raise $30 Billion to plant 8 billion trees. Help us raise $100,000 Billion to remove 10% of Ocean Waste Worldwide.
