The FBPS Community understands that Sonia Caelli’s contract is up for renewal for 2025.

The undersigned students and parents wish to join together to strongly encourage the FBPS board and management to retain Sonia at FBPS and renew her contract for 2025.

Sonia is loved by both students and parents for her engaging and colourful style; she also possesses highly effective classroom management skills that foster an environment conducive to learning without judgment.

Sonia’s approach improves individual student outcomes and participation and fosters a love and desire to learn. Furthermore, she carefully resonates with the needs and differences of every student, making her a standout figure in the teaching community to whom many look up to and seek out. 

The undersigned FBPS Community is deeply concerned by the possible loss of Sonia next year, which would result in the loss of a highly effective, empathetic, creative and skilled teacher who significantly contributes to the progress, and perhaps more importantly, the wellbeing and happiness of her students. She brings “sparkle” and joy to her classrooms, which is reflected in the students appetite to learn and attend. 

A teacher's role is critical in these formative years of a child's development, and Sonia has consistently proven to be a great asset in this regard.

Retaining Sonia would not only uphold the overall learning quality but also demonstrate the school’s commitment to nurturing a supportive environment for student growth, which also encourages a love to learn.

Every signature on this petition asks the FBPS board and management to please recognise Sonia’s invaluable contributions to education at FBPS and reconsider her continued role as an educator at FBPS for 2025 and beyond.
