I am passionate about DOOM.  Sitting down to slay hell's minions is an incredibly fun concept and experience.  Many people were disheartened when discovering the unfortunate events during the development of recent DOOM installments, where composer Mick Gordon was mistreated by Marty Stratton of Bethesda Softworks - and then paid six figures to stay quiet about it.  This mistreatment has led to outrage within the DOOM community, and Gordon being highly unlikely to work on any future DOOM projects, making man fans worldwide disappointed.

Mick Gordon's compositions have been a huge part of the success and immersion of the DOOM series, setting up the fast paced combat and mechanical ambience that left players on their toes during the fight.  His unique style carved a mark for the gaming industry.  It is very unfortunate to see his creativity and his passion absent in the new series due to poor treatment in the workplace.

This petition calls for Mick Gordon to compose music for a community-funded and fan-made project for DOOM: The Dark Ages.  By convincing him to partake in fan projects, we might still be able to extend the memorable and iconic soundscape that Gordon's musical ability has given the DOOM franchise.
