Hello everyone!

My name is Samantha Hagenbush and I am a sophomore Kinesiology major at Penn State Berks.

With the leadership of Tyler McGrogan, senior Kinesiology student, the Penn State Berks Kinesiology students are trying to get Dr. Valerie Cholet, Associate Professor, Internship Coordinator, and student disability advocate for Berks, her job restored to continue her amazing career at Berks.

On Tuesday March 29th, Dr. Cholet was informed that her contract would not be renewed for the 2022-23 school year and beyond. This has created an outrage among the Kinesiology department, as Dr. Cholet is an important part of Kinesiology, as well as Penn State Berks in general.

As a recent Doctoral graduate of Penn State University in 2020, and an Associate Professor at Berks for 20 years, Dr. Cholet is an integrated member in the Penn State community. We are all so sad to see Penn State do this to a professor we love so much.

We ask that you show your support for Dr. Cholet and the Kinesiology Department by signing this petition. We will do all we can to help Dr. Cholet and show that we care deeply about her and the impact she has had on all of us as students and as individuals. Thank you so much in advance! WE ARE!
