In reality, the current U.S. immigration system is broken, and a highly expensive fence is not the solution. Thankfully, President Obama promised during his campaign to reform immigration policy and "foster safe, legal and orderly migration." His plan includes new opportunities for undocumented migrants to legalize and focuses on prevention, discouraging businesses from violating immigration laws.
