Blockbuster was a magical place! You went to Blockbuster on a Saturday night for a good movie. You grabbed your favorite candy and a movie. You might even have run into one of your classmates there.

   Blockbuster was a place to socialize and get a really good movie! Blockbuster had aisles upon aisles of movies to pick from. When you came to Blockbuster you weren’t just getting a movie, you were getting a whole experience! When you search for a movie on Roku, you're not experiencing anything. It’s the same when you go to a movie theater; it's more fun to see a movie in a movie theater then watch one on Roku.   When you went into Blockbuster you didn’t just get a movie, you socialized.

    Because it was the 1990s, people interacted with each other a lot more; but that’s because there was no internet except for aol. The internet keeps us isolated from the rest of the world so much. When you watch Roku or Firestick, you have no socialization at all with the outside world. When your face is stuck in your phone, you aren’t interacting with other people. If you buy an old movie on Ebay that you can’t find on streaming devices, then you don’t interact with people. If there was no Roku, Firestick, or internet we would interact a lot more! Now even Facebook is dying. A lot of people don’t bother going on it anymore. Being not as social anymore is all the more reason to have Blockbuster return! It’s hard to find good movies and the internet is dying as we know it.

   Blockbuster brought friends and family together. I know people were a lot happier back in the day but maybe people aren’t as friendly now because we’re all too isolated in this century. Blockbuster can change all that! Blockbuster can bring people together again once more! We can pop in and pick out a good movie. I watch movies that aren’t even from this decade because they’re better than today's movies. We all need Blockbuster to return. Imagine if we make it known how much we want it to return, Blockbuster can come back! Let’s make it happen! Let’s revive that magic!
