Hey neighbors,

As many of you know, the old Shari’s at Berry Hill Shopping Center (right off Beavercreek) has been sitting empty for a while now. It used to be a cozy spot for late-night pie, weekend breakfasts, and casual dinners—and a lot of us miss having a place like that in town.

That’s why I’m starting this petition to ask Black Bear Diner to consider opening a location there.

Black Bear has the same warm, down-home vibe we loved about Shari’s, but with a fresher, more updated menu and a fun, rustic style. It’s family-friendly, affordable, and already a favorite in other Oregon towns. With no diners like it in Oregon City right now, it would fill a big gap in our local dining scene.

The building is already set up for a restaurant. It’s in a super visible location with plenty of parking. Honestly, it feels like a perfect match—and I think it could become a new community favorite.
