Let’s bring back the scare factor of fright fest with someone who cares

The Issue

Six Flags is more than just an amusement park; it's a place of excitement, thrill, and unforgettable memories for many of us in Austell, Georgia and beyond. However, recent visits to Fright Fest have shown a significant decline in what used to be an exhilarating experience filled with suspense and genuine scares. The current management, unfortunately, seems to lack the vision and commitment to delivering the spine-chilling thrills that made Fright Fest a staple attraction in the past.

For us, the thrill-seekers and Halloween enthusiasts, Fright Fest was always one of the highlights of the year. It used to attract horror fans from all over, looking for the ultimate scare. However, with the current management in place, the scare factor seems to have dwindled. The haunted houses and scare zones which used to be immersive and adrenaline-pumping, have lost their edge. The once carefully orchestrated atmosphere that kept us on the edge of our seats is now lackluster at best.

Beyond the diminishing thrill, we are starting to see the impact on both visitor numbers and park profits. Regular attendees have begun to notice longer lines and less enthusiastic crowds with the zones, directly correlating to the lack of frightening attractions. It's not only the guests who are disappointed; even park workers have expressed their dissatisfaction with the current state of Fright Fest. They miss the excitement that came with organizing and partaking in the event, which is now just another day at work.

To restore Fright Fest to its former glory, we urge Six Flags management to consider hiring a new manager or creative director who is passionate about horror attractions and committed to revamp the event. This new leader should bring innovative ideas, incorporate modern scare tactics, and work closely with the creative team to maximize the fear factor. By doing so, we can reignite the spark that originally drew so many people to Fright Fest.

Please sign this petition if you believe in bringing back the scares and excitement to Six Flags Fright Fest. Together, we can make a difference and restore the heart-pounding thrills that we all miss. Let’s get Six Flags back on track to being the ultimate destination for fear and fun!
