Hello my name is Crystal and I'm starting this national petition to let people be able to live inside their motorhomes on their property, not everyone can afford a regular home, not everyone can afford a apartment. My family is one of those people. I am a home owner and my parents live in a motorhome, they have been living in motorhomes for many years, kicked out of many rv parks because of a certain amount of days/weeks/months you are allowed to stay in the rv parks. 

I have allowed them to live in my back yard(my property) and do to statute laws(not apart of the constitution) the city is trying to tell them they cannot live in the motorhome even though we have the necessary Amp, sewer, water hook ups on our house. 

This is a problem. The government doesn't see motorhomes as a permanent living situation, so that's why they made it "illegal" to live in a motorhome on your own property. It's okay to park rvs and campers on your property as long as you are not living in it. And that should not be the case. It's our property. Fires happen everywhere all the times if that's what they are concerned about. House fires, car fires, truck fires, appliance fires ect. 

People should be able to live in motorhomes on property if all hookups are up to date and safe. People should not have to just live rv park to rv park. I know a lot of people living in motorhomes/campers because they can't afford other options. And the it's crazy how badly they are being treated, like they are less then a home owner even though it's a motorHOME. 

The laws on this need to change and if you feel the same please sign or please share. Let's break the stigma on rvs and campers. It's 2023. And rvs have been around for years and laws are all over the place for them and it's not okay. Let people live in rv parks, or properties. Or even off grid. A home is a home, no matter what. A trailer is considered a house even though it's mobile, so why can't rvs and campers? Help me and share and sign and let's help motorhome owners including my mother Patricia, father Douglas and sister Anglia be able to live without the fear of being kicked out. Break the stigma of living in a house is the only normal way. I have traveled to 13 countries here in America and every single rv park was the same. It's not right. They are belittled, kicked out ect, my family was below middle class, we had to go where the work was so motorhome was our only option. And rv parks are cruel. They don't care about your situation, they care about money, and their park rules. And then you can't even live in a motorhome on your own property or families property.  People who live in motorhomes are treated badly and I know first hand how hard is is to get settled in, unpack, just pack everything up look for somewhere to go and repeat the prosses.  It's not easy. It's not fun. And it's not right. Motorhome owners are people to and have rights and it should be just as a regular home owner. Or for rv parks to be like  apartment owner. A home is a home help me and share and sign for my family and everyone living in a rv /camper thank you!
