We, the students of Oxford Business College (OBC), respectfully urge the Office for Students (OfS) to allow currently enrolled students to complete their courses at their existing campuses, despite the decision to de-designate OBC courses effective 31 August 2025.

We understand the need to maintain integrity in the higher education sector. However, students should not be punished for issues beyond our control. Many of us are just months away from graduating and have already invested years of time, money, and effort into our education.

This sudden decision is causing:

Severe disruption to our academic progress

Increased stress and mental health issues

Uncertainty about our employability and qualifications

We are particularly concerned that collective punishment is being applied, rather than targeting specific wrongdoing. We believe students who have followed the rules, committed to their studies, and contributed to campus life deserve the chance to finish what they started.

We call on OfS to:

Allow current students to finish their courses at OBC

Avoid further destabilizing our academic and career futures

Engage with the student body to find a fair, transparent solution

Please support this petition so that we are not denied the future we’ve worked so hard to achieve.
