C418's music is nostalgic, peaceful, and has emotion in it, all in a specific way that no other composer has been able to do. C418 used to make music for Minecraft because he was able to keep ownership of the songs he created. Once Microsoft bought Mojang Studios, they didn't want C418 to make music for Minecraft without him forking over the ownership of the songs. In place, other artists, Lena Raine, Kumi Tanioka, and Samuel Åberg have made songs instead. But as I, and many others agree, their new songs are great, but don't match the way C418's music did. I know many people (myself included) have Minecraft music turned off, and play other music in the background, mostly consisting of C418's music. C418 also had a third album for Minecraft called Minecraft - Volume Final (a placeholder title), but C418 can't add this music to the game because of the problem I addressed above. I want to change, and get Microsoft to allow C418 to keep the rights to his own music, and let him keep making great music for the game.
