The Issue

Title: A Call to Humanity – Adopt a Child from Gaza

From: Fayez Ahmed, Student, Bangladesh

Right now, in Gaza, thousands of innocent children have lost everything — their homes, their families, their safety. Many have no parents, no shelter, and no future. But we, the people of Bangladesh, especially those with means, have the power to change that.

My proposal is simple and humane:

Let us encourage the wealthy and capable families in Bangladesh to adopt orphaned children from Gaza, giving them love, education, and a peaceful life. Instead of spending money on luxury and waste, we can invest in lives — in futures.

What we ask from the Government of Bangladesh:

1. Raise this issue in the international community – Speak to the UN, OIC, and other global organizations to support a humanitarian adoption process.

2. Request a special agreement with Palestine and international aid groups to allow Bangladeshi citizens to adopt children legally and safely.

3. Open flights or safe travel channels, in partnership with humanitarian organizations, for these children to come to Bangladesh.

4. Create a national campaign to raise awareness and connect willing families with the process.

5. Ensure proper care and protection for adopted children under Bangladeshi law.

This is not just charity — it’s justice. It’s love. And it's what Bangladesh stands for — compassion, brotherhood, and hope.

Let us be the nation that saves not just one, but hundreds of lives. Let us be the light in their darkness.

With hope,
