Olivia was born a to mother that was a prostitute and a father that had a crack addiction. She could have been a crack addict , a stripper , a prostitute or anything bad but this woman was determined to make it in life. She was constantly always in the books and school. She graduated from college with a 3.6 GPA. They could have token that into consideration. This woman did not get a fair trial and she does NOT deserve 30 years. Justice for Ms. Moody. She was harassed , threaten and beaten up. She did take a life but she was fearful of her safety. They didn't have to give this woman 30 years. One faithful night in June of 2011 the night in which she took the life of Vanessa Bearden in front of a crowd of onlookers in a Pine Bluff apartment complex. According to Olivias account she was fed up with being bullied and bothered by Bearden (An associate of her ex boyfriends new mate) and purchased a gun for self defense. The night of June 11th Bearden and some friends had attacked Moody and followed her home; After the attack Moody confronted the girls and pulled out a 9mm pistol that she had gotten from a friend for protection.
