Fix hinge defect, compensate owners of a defective model.

Fix hinge defect, compensate owners of a defective model.
The Issue
About a year ago, I bought a Lenovo g575 laptop. It was a Labor Day sale and was very good value. However, about 8 months after I bought it, the left hinge started to separate from the case of the laptop. Now, it is 14 months after the purchase date, and whenever I open it, the bottom case splits in half. When I try to screw the screw back where it is supposed to be, it is as if the screw is stripped. I used my 3DS to find a solution, and found this:
So, I am not the only one with this problem. I also found:

The picture with this petition is of a fellow customer who had the same problem as me. The model is even the same!
So, this has been a problem for people for over a year, it is a manufacturing defect, yet Lenovo has done nothing about it. They keep on making the same models, with the same defect, making more customers unhappy.
My petition aims to do 2 things:
1. Make Lenovo recall the defective models, and
2. Make Lenovo compensate the owners of the defective models by:
a. Allowing them a means of backing up their computer
b. Allowing them to get their defective laptops repaired, free of charge.
It is not fair to sell a product that you know is defective, yet refuse to do anything about. If needed, I will take this to court.
This is not just for me; this is for EVERYONE with the same hinge problem.
I you value quality products and agree that Lenovo should FIX THIS DEFECT, prease sign - your support is greatly appreciated. THIS IS NOT SPAM, THIS IS A REAL PROBLEM.
