When I first saw The Lego Batman Movie I was so happy same with the other Lego movies and on December 5th 2018 director Chris McKay announced on Twitter that the sequel was in development but a while later it Lego and Warner Bros announced that their filming partnership was over and their 5 year contract would not be renewed due to The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part flopping and later on in June of 2021 it was officially announced and confirmed that The Lego Batman 2 was canceled it was stated that there was a full script written by Dan Harmon the creator of Community and Rick and Morty and the story was gonna follow Batman’s relationship with The Justice League and the struggles they went through and the villains were gonna be Lex Luther and Omac and according to rumours the film was possibly gonna be a Marvel crossover with superheroes crossing over from the Marvel Universe such as Spider-Man,Iron Man,Thor,Hulk, & Captain America. So hearing all this makes me disappointed but I will not stand here and tolerate it so by signing my petition we’ll make The Lego Batman Movie 2 happen.
