The Issue
LEGALIZE THE AGE OF CONSENT TO 21
Alrighty let's begin!!! Why is it that 21 is the legal age for drinking and smoking, but not for the legal age of consent? I propose we fix this uneven keel and strive for a higher beginning- completely regaining the laws into balance.
Studies show that the brain is less developed at 18 than in the later years, not to mention most 18 yr olds are actually still in high school. Now why do we even begin to allow or entertain the idea that a 38yr old male could legally sexually engage with someone still in high school?! Let's cut this problem down to the roots and institute a new regime-one where at least where both parties can walk into a bar together after they've, well, you know.
MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN A CHILDS LIFE
Change the adoption laws between families to mandated open adoptions only in order to avoid childhood generational trauma from children being lied to about being adopted by their own genetic blood. Instead of the adoptive grandmother lying and saying she's the mother, she can simply tell the child she's the grandmother and that the child is adopted because her biological parents are in a tough spot. I mean how hard is it to tell a softened loving truth?
