Our company, Go Tours Canada, has been a proud part of Toronto's tourism industry for two decades.  In 2023, we lost our Ontario Place location due to construction for the Therme Spa.

But where one sauna door closes, a new port window opens.

We are eager to contribute to the city's vibrant tourism scene once again by introducing a Segway pilot tour through Toronto's new Port Lands.

The Port Lands area is an emerging hub for outdoor tourism and recreation. This revitalized waterfront and innovative urban space is perfect for our iconic Segway tour.  We will provide a unique way for visitors to explore this dynamic area and also boost local businesses and the overall economy.

However, current regulations prevent us from operating such tours.  We're requesting the City of Toronto legalize Segways for a pre-determined tour route through the new Port Lands area to highlight the emerging destination.

In 20 years we have trained over 200,000 Segway riders in the Distillery District, Ontario Place, Toronto Zoo and other locations around Ontario.

We believe that legalizing Segway tours in the Port Lands will enhance Toronto’s reputation as an innovative city open to sustainable tourism practices while providing residents and visitors with an exciting new way to experience the new area.
