Psilocybin mushrooms have been scrutinized by the public because of years of inaccurate reporting about their side effects and unfair bais against their usage.

In recent years, research on the effects of psilocybin has increased and studies have shown promising results. Addiction, high anxiety, and PTSD are just a few of the many medical struggles that can be relieved by the use of these amazing mushrooms. 

Traditional medical treatments for these issues have many unwanted side effects. Psilocybin mushrooms, on the other hand, have little to none.

The Indiana State Senate drafted a bipartisan bill (Indiana Senate Bill 139) that would support the legalization of these mushrooms, but it has yet to succeed in becoming legislation.

Join the rest of Purdue's campus in urging lawmakers to pass this bill, and  supporting continual legislation that makes medical treatments like psilocybin available to those who desperately need it.
