I have a deep affection for donkeys. They are intelligent, gentle creatures that deserve our respect and understanding. However, there is an outdated law that prohibits these wonderful animals from sleeping in bathtubs. This may seem like a trivial issue, but it represents a broader problem of unnecessary restrictions on animal behavior.

In many countries around the world, donkeys are allowed to sleep wherever they feel comfortable - whether it be in fields, stables or even bathtubs. It's time we extend the same rights to our donkeys here.

There is no scientific evidence suggesting that allowing a donkey to sleep in a bathtub poses any risk either to the animal or humans (The Donkey Sanctuary). On the contrary, providing them with such freedom can contribute positively towards their overall wellbeing.
