As not only an older sister, but also as a young woman who dreams of a future with children of her own -  I regard acts of violence or harm perpetrated against children with a deep-rooted abhorrence. Crime against children is NOT natural. Human beings who inflict harm on children are NOT human. They will never be redeemed. Children are innocent and at the start of their lives they should feel joyful and safe. Bringing fear and pain to an innocent child is beyond evil.

Although the harsh reality shows that this is often, it does not mean that it can’t be helped. 

I firmly believe in the need for the strictest possible punishment for child abusers: the death penalty. It's an extremely firm stand to take, but it sends a strong message towards deterring these inhumane acts. Child abusers are stripped of empathy, incapable of contrition, and present a clear and insurmountable danger to the most innocent members of our society.

Therefore, I petition for the legalization of capital punishment for any form of abuse or violence perpetuated against children. Together, we can protect our children, and give them a great start to their lives, purging society of those loathsome enough to harm these innocent souls.
