Raccoons should be legalised in the UK!

Since 2016 raccoons have been banned from the UK/Europe, they're described as an "invasive species" and they're not allowed to be owned, sold, imported etc.

I really don't understand why they're completely banned because these animals can make such loving, harmless pets! They can be very intelligent and can look after themselves. They should at-least be kept with owners that have an animal license to ensure that they can be properly looked after. I'd appreciate if you signed the petition so we could help these furry friends get noticed and potentially be legalized in the UK/Europe. �
