Legalise Gel Blasters Australia was created to show just how many upstanding law abiding citizens across Australia would like to see changes to the legislation regarding Gel Blasters. We applaud the Qld Government and Police for their handling of the sport. And would welcome similar campaigns such as the Stop and Think campaign in other states and territories, which educates and protects the wider community. We do not think it is fair or just that all Australians are punished and treated like criminals due to the actions of a few individuals who are prone to doing the wrong thing. And fully support harsh penalties for those few who misuse Gel Blasters and flout the law. We are not opposed to registration of Gel Blasters similar to the Paint Ball Marker register in NSW, as we feel that is a fair and reasonable compromise to allow this great sport to be enjoyed by all Australians. We feel a common sense approach is long overdue rather than the draconian blanket ban that currently exists.
