Dear Lee Hsien Loong and Ministry of Health

The recent measures by Lawrence Wong for COVID 19 are unreasonable. The Multi Ministry Task Force (MMTF) did extremely well with the importation and distribution of vaccine, and that is something we can respect. With 81% of the Singapore population vaccinated, we should move towards an endemic living with restrictions being released (no matter how slowly it takes).

Recent events to enforce more testing and lack of restrictions being released despite 81% vaccinated showed that Lawrence Wong and Gan Kim Yong  do not have the will to follow on the proposed  "endemic plan". They broke the promise of more restrictions being released despite 80% vaccinated. They broke the promise that increasing measures will be a "last resort".  The removal of social gathering in the work place and increased testing indicates he wants another Heightened Alert (HA) and is setting the stage to do so (despite not outright saying it) .

This cannot be allowed. Ong Ye Kung is pro-opening and has the will to carry into endemic stage, but Lawrence Wong and Gan Kim Yong  does not. As Lee Kuan Yew once said, " Whoever governs Singapore must have that iron in him. Or give it up. This is not a game of cards. This is your life and mine!" 

In the interest of not only business, but also Singapore well being, we call for the resignation of Lawrence Wong and Gan Kim Yong. We also call for Singapore to actually move to an endemic stage. Singapore is built on trade and people. Neglecting these with 81% vaccination will result in more murders, suicides, unemployment and lead to the detriment of Singapore society.
