For the first time, our bipartisan Board of Elections could not agree on an early voting schedule after an outside partisan figure urged certain members of the board to abolish Sunday voting.

Meanwhile, those who spoke during public comment asked the board to keep Sunday voting. Those are the voices that should matter most, the people who actually live, work, worship, pay taxes, and vote in Lee County.
