Developers are asking the City of Lebanon to annex a parcel of land off of Quarry Road surrounding Martha's Quarry to RM-6 (High Density Residential). If approved we could see large scale low income apartment complexes and over 1000 more cars per day on our one lane country road that is prone to flooding.

We believe this attempted annexation does not embrace the essence of state law. The subject property is not contiguous to the city of Lebanon the proposal seeks annexation via railroad right-of-way to connect the property to the city. We do not believe this attempted annexation will withstand legal scrutiny as it does not take in people, private property or businesses....

We do would support RM-20, low density single family homes with large lots so long as major road improvements are made from Highway 70 all the way to East Division prior to the rezoning of the parcel.

Wilson County board of Commissioner and Lebanon City Council - STOP THE ANNEXATION OF THE QUARRY ROAD PROPERTY and begin the process of responsible development.
