Due to the recent disastrous situation at Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport, travelers have been experiencing unacceptable delays, which are resulting in long wait in line, individuals missing their flights, public altercations etc.

On the other side, roads and traffic conditions from Beirut to Northern Lebanon and vice versa have been a major hassle, adding more suffering and delays to travelers coming from the North.

We urge the Lebanese Government to restore Rene Mouawad Air Base Airport and start operating civil flights immediately to facilitate travel and introduce economic justice.
