LCPS Dresscode Change For All Genders

LCPS Dresscode Change For All Genders
The Issue
As a student in LCPS, a female one at that, I have been told many times by my teachers that the clothes I wear to school are too revealing. I've also seen other girls being told their clothes violate the dress-code as well. Male teachers and administration comment on girl's clothes the most at my school. It's alarming and chilling that male staff are commenting on an underaged girls bra straps, underwear, legs, and shoulders. Why are they even looking there?
Not only females, but I'd like to normalize genders wearing clothing of the opposite sex. Boys should feel comfortable and loved for wearing feminine clothes. Non-binary and other gendered students should also have the right to wear strapless, spaghetti strapped, or cropped tops as well.
The dress-code currently states that a student "must wear clothes that cover the midriff and have tops that have greater than one inch wide." In the eyes of teachers, one would believe that this should be enforced because of the distractions it may have on students. Instead of teaching girls at school to cover themselves up, as it objectifies them and humiliates them, we should be teaching the students to not take advantage of other students.
Fashion is a way of self expression. If you believe that we shouldn't be able to express ourselves because of how revealing our clothes are or how our clothes don't match our genders, then the students enrolled in our county will feel restricted and shamed for dressing how they like.
