Mr.Thompson of the Science department at Foster High School thinks it’s acceptable to poke fun at the deaths of African Americans at the hands of police brutality. These type of comments from Mr.Thompson shouldn’t be taken lightly, and he should be banned from being around our black youth as more of his hateful and disgusting comments can be vocalized. Negative comments like this can also create a narrative and other students can catch on, leading to other problems. Mr.Thompson is in no way, shape, or form fit to teach a class filled with black children, as he’s shown his way of immature thinking and complete lack of sensitivity for the mourning African Americans in his classroom. Please I ask you to sign this petition to help bring awareness to LCISD and Foster High School.
