Ashley Harmon started this petition to Law Makers of Georgia

Within my community I have witnessed a wide, disturbing spread of senseless gun violence. So many young children, adults, neighbors, and different people have passed away at the hands of gun violence. It’s saddening to see the amount of crime increase in my state due to senseless gun violence, and it needs to end. Not sure of what direction to take or to even request, but one solution that would be feasible is the acknowledgment of how damaging the act is to our communities and the acknowledgment of the problem. It’s saddening to mourn the loss of innocent children ,sons, brothers, daughters, fathers ,cousins, and people who are apart of these communities. It’s sickening and there needs to be some sort of reparations for the families of these victims and action needs to be taken. The notion for this petition is simply just a vision for a better future in our communities where people love one another and don’t turn to gun violence to solve issues. All signatures will be appreciated in the event that you have a loved one who has passed away due to gun violence, witnessed a story on the news of an innocent life being taken due to gun violence, or just having a good heart and wanting to show your support and awareness of this ongoing problem.  Thank You Very Much for your support.
