Law breakers must not be allowed to stand for leadership of any political party

The Issue

Leaders of all UK political parties act as representatives of the people of the UK.

it is only right and proper that those seeking to become leaders of 'thier' political party are law abiding citizens, for the sake of their political parties and the country as a whole.

As leaders of any political party have the potential to become Priministers of the UK and could find themselves signing international treaties and the like, it is imperative that there 'percieved integrity' is not compromised by a history of Law Breaking.

In an ideal world 'Party Leaders' would be of 'good unquestionable charactor'.

We do not live in an ideal world, however we do have a reliable and robust legal system, which can be used to 'define' lawbreakers.

The purpose of this petition is to deny 'law breakers' the opportunity to become 'party leaders' and hence to help uphold the reputation of the UK in the international political scene. and to protect our UK democracy from being compromised.
