PUC eCALS (Early College Academy for Leaders and Scholar is a tuition-free, public charter high school that has been serving the communities of Northeast Los Angeles since 2011. We are a WASC accredited, U.S. News & World Report acclaimed, California Gold Ribbon distinguished, and National Honors Society chapter member school. In addition to offering a variety of rigorous and engaging classes, including ones offered to our students by local colleges, we have several great programs at PUC eCALS, including our award-winning Math, Engineering, Science, Achievement (MESA) team. We also have an array of offerings in the arts realm, including a choir, spirt band, guitar classes, and a variety of musical ensembles. All of these educational opportunities provide PUC eCALS students with impressive resumes that have allowed them to gain entrance into many of the best colleges and universities nationwide, including USC, UCLA, Notre Dame, NYU, and Syracuse University. Our goal is for our students to be college bound and life ready!

As a community, we are committed to renewing our charter for the next school year and beyond. At this time, we are in need of support from of all of our parents, students, staff members, local community members, and other stakeholders, in order to continue to provide students with meaningful learning opportunities and experiences for many years to come.

By signing this petition, you are telling the LAUSD School Board that you are in support of PUC eCALS and that you want them to VOTE YES on November 24, 2020 to renew our school’s charter!
