As part of a Pay It Forward Project, I have decided to stop euthanasia in high kill shelters. I can't stop this all at once so I'm taking it step by step,

By telling Spokane Animal Shelter to stop using euthanasia on treatable animals. 

In 2012 my family got this amazing addition. My cat Hunter is one of the lights of my life and I don't know what I would do with out him. But when he was 6 months old, he was going to be euthanized because of his black fur, and because he was male. Luckily, the Seattle Humane took him and now he lives a happy life. He is not the only animal that this happened to. In 2013 a spokane animal shelter euthanized 740 heathy, rehabilitatable and treatable animals. These animals were euthanized because owners asked for it, but they should be able to refuse euthanasia if the animal is healthy or treatable. Please don't let these animal die because their owners don't want them anymore. Tell this animal shelter to spare the lives of animals.
