Senior Exemption from School Taxes
The Issue
I am 66 years old. I am single with no children. I have been paying for other people's children to be educated all of my tax-paying life. At age 65, enough should be ENOUGH!
It is time for Nassau County, and other counties, to STOP charging SENIORS, many on a fixed, or little to NO income, to be relieved of this UNCONSCIONABLE financial burden.
