The Issue

The BBC recently admitted to have paid a Hamas minister's family for participating in a 'documentary' about Gaza, as reported by Sky News and other outlets: https://news.sky.com/story/government-calls-urgent-meeting-with-bbc-over-controversial-gaza-documentary-13318590

The documentary in question was a piece that glorified and justified Hamas and its actions.

Hamas is a proscribed terror organization in the UK.

According to UK law (the terrorist act 2000 and 2006) it is illegal to finance, work with, promote or glorify a proscribed terror organization.

By admitting they have paid a Hamas family to participate in the production of a piece of propaganda that benefits Hamas, the BBC admitted to breaking the law, and yet they seem to face no consequences for it.

The BBC cannot be allowed to be above the law.

We demand the UK government launches a criminal investigation into the BBC and press charges where appropriate.
