I feel that the mirage is a stable of the Las Vegas Strip and it’s worth keeping, It’s a historical casino, The volcano fountain is a luxurious lush experience and amazing show to see at night while the greenery is amazing in the daylight as well with the waterfalls. It doesn’t make sense to tear this down and then build a guitar which is pointed to also block other famous views in the strip, hard rock can build and revamp and area and the city that needs it on the strip not a classic iconic Casino that’s a staple of the strip. Certainly, clientele of those classic casinos were sad to see them go, but this impending loss feels heightened because of the richness of the experience at the Mirage through the years. It’s difficult to imagine the Strip without the erupting volcano, the rainforest atrium, the dolphin habitat and the lions and tigers at Siegfried and Roy’s Secret Garden. These are definitive pieces of Las VegasS so with this petition we’re looking to cease changes and mark the Mirage as historical from the city of Las Vegas.
