Auto enthusiasts have been harassed for years for "Not Properly Displaying Front License Plate". A $70 dollar ticket. Many high end cars and street cars do not come with a mounting location for a front license plate, and your not going to catch me drilling holes into my bumper. Many other states don't require a front tag at all on any vehicles in the state. Think how much Maryland would save if we only had to pay for the one license plate that is mounted to the rear of the vehicle.
