This is a petition demanding that the current District Attorney, in the county of Merced, State of California, resign from his elected position effective immediately due to the following reasons.

1. DA Larry Morse II has displayed his willingness to do favors for people who are personal friends of our Mayor, Stan Thurston.

2. He and his family have brought shame upon our county when his son killed Alexander Ruiz, injured Ruiz's girlfriend and Dylan's friend Ryne Spitzer.

3. He manipulated the justice system and though it had never been done before, had his son brought back before the judge and had the charges reduced to 3 years. 16 months of those three years was applied to the killing of Alexander Ruiz. The other time was for the other charges of injuring his friend and Alex's girlfriend.

4. District Attorney Larry Morse and his wife again brought shame and public distrust of government and in his ability to continue as an effective District Attorney in the County Merced when another son, Ethan Morse, 18-years-of-age was arrested for murder.

Merced county residents thank you for the good that you have done in our community but the time is now for you to go and take care of a family that really needs you. Over at least the last two year we have had the murder rate increasing. Meth, bath salts and god knows what else are all pover our streets and infested throughout our once thriving owntown.
