The Retreat on Milledge is currently under contract to operate the shuttle 9 hours per day. When requested for extended hours for the shuttle bus, we were told that this timeframe (9 hours per day) may only be started earlier or later in the day to accommodate student schedules to and from campus. The limited operating hours of the shuttle bus have left many with later classes stranded on campus unable to get back to their apartments. We feel as a community that we pay a premium price for a premium experience, and only operating until 4:30 PM on weekdays is less than stellar. Many students here have early morning and evening classes and are heavily reliant on the shuttle bus provided by The Retreat. We urge The Retreat on Milledge and or Landmark Properties to extend their shuttle bus hours during the weekdays so that students can get to and from campus in a reliable and safe manner.
