Jason Keener started this petition to Lancaster County School District and

I believe we should have no more school on Fridays because students need more time to rest and not should have five days of school a week. If we have four days of the week, we can have more time to complete assignments and projects that would be due over the weekend and provides an extra opportunity for extra rest and a less stressful environment. We also need to think of the students who have jobs that work over the weekend and need at least one day off to themselves so they won't be stressed all the time. Students with after school curricular activities also need more time to complete homework assignments and to have free time for themselves because they are losing more time due to practice for sports and clubs.

So students of Indian Land, Lancaster County, and all Counties in South Carolina. We need the South Carolina Department of Education to approve of this change and to longer have schools on Fridays so we can finally get the rest we deserve and have time to finally complete all the assignments that are due. If we lose, the students of South Carolina will make another petition for "No More Homework" Period.

I want this change to happen because currently, I am having to work all weekend so I can finally have money to buy my own car and I aswell have practice after school, this is leading me to not having any time to myself and being able to finish all the homework that I have due and led me to have to stay at home because I'm exhausted and only have one day off, yet I still have homework that I still haven't finished so my only day off is for me to finish all my homework.

Since we do have schools on Friday this had led most of us into being stressed all the time and not being able to attend school, so South Carolina Department of Education will you approve of this change?
